| The Rotary Club of Sitiawan took 24 children from the orphanage Rumah Wawasan Manjung to MAPS ( Movie Animation Park Studios) which is Asia's first animation theme park in Ipoh Perak on the 26th of May 2018.The entire trip was sponsored by a Good Samaritan who entrusted RC Sitiawan with the responsibility of making all the arrangements. Our Rotarians got down to task of booking the tickets, made arrangements for food with the theme park management, arranging for a bus and one of our Rotarians accompanied the children on this trip. |

| We all had a great time with a fun filled day, full of laughter and joy.They sang all the way up in the bus. They brought along their guitar and even a bongo drum. They are so full of life and positive loving energy. The food was all set for us and the children didn't have to wait when they were hungry after playing. |

| The children were treated to sumptious meal- nasi beriyani, fish and chips, spaghetti with meatballs to name a few. They also had ice cream for dessert. After the theme park, on the way back we stopped to have dinner in Ipoh.They expressed that it was a trip that they would cherish for the rest of their lives. We were glad to be a part of such a meaningful event in the lives of these children. |
