Rotary Inter-City Meet'99 on 4th Dec.1999
A total of 67 Rotarians,
31 Anns, 15 children and 7 guests attended the groups 2 & 4
InterCity Meeting. This fellowship event started off with a presentation
of 22 kayaks to the Outward Bound School Lumut grounds on Saturday
afternoon.
The fellowship dinner on the 4th night at the Orient
Star started off with an inspiring talk by PP Dr C.C.Chang of RC Ipoh on
the challenges faced by Senior Citizens in the new millennium. This was
followed by dinner with entertainment provided by our cowboys, Tan Keng
Hui, Ching Neng Bin, Lim Kee Moon and friends Bahar and Sham. The line
dance performance was by our Rotary Anns. Inspired by the music,
Rotarians, Anns, guests and children took to the floor to dance to the
music of the sixties and seventies.
