Congratulations to President Steven Ngooi. A simple but meaningful handover of Rotary Club of Sitiawan 62nd Presidential Jewel for year 2021-2022. The outgoing President Cathy Yeoh Siew Bean handed over the Presidential Jewel to incoming President Steven Ngooi Seng Peng on 19th July 2021.
In conjunction with the Presidential Jewel handover, the 1st Rotary Year Project was launched by President Steven Ngooi and that is the Food distribution for the NEEDY families in Manjung District.
Today on 19th July 2021, is also President Steven Ngooi maiden food distribution project for the needy. The Rotary Club of Sitiawan carried out the Pandemic Assistance Project for the purpose of helping families who are in financial difficulty during this period, the BOD has approved a sum of RM2,000 to help families, and each family will get RM100 worth of household products.

Many thanks to PP Ngan Ching Jing, PAG Tiong Kee Huat, Rtn Cheng Mao Hong, Rtn Dr Ling Jiong Ming for the donation of RM500 each towards monetary support. Together with club fund of RM2k plus donation from Rotarians of RM2k the Club has four thousand for this meaningful project.
Each package worth Rm100 and we have identified 40 needy people to distribute. Besides giving, Rotarians will do a check on them to see any further assistance needed to help them weather through this Covid-19 pandemic.

该社会长魏成平说该社成立已经有60年，这些年都在关注本区的需要，并尽我们的能力来协助和关怀有需要的人士。
