BAG2 School with Rotary ~ in Project Partnership with Yayasan Kelab Kelab Rotary Malaysia (YKKRM)

In the recent years Yayasan Kelab Kelab rotary Malaysia (YKKRM) has been assisting and enabling more Rotary clubs in Malaysia to better serve the community through various programs in the area of poverty alleviation, education, health, humanitarian missions, disaster relief and youth development. Youth, Education and its development has always been a part of our Rotary area of focus and held closely by many clubs in both the District 3300 and 3310.

The Trustees and Coordinators of YKKRM have also realized that every year many Rotary Clubs in both the District 3300 and 3310 gives out Bursaries and school Uniforms as well as School needs as part of their Rotary Club Project.

The Trustees and Coordinators of YKKRM in celebrating another year of Rotary Service with the beginning of a new Rotary Year 2019-2020 where the Theme itself is “Rotary Connects the World”, we at YKKRM wishes to connect all the Rotary Clubs in Malaysia by inviting Rotary Clubs to participate on a Single Day/Week Joint “Bag” to School Project.

The Coordinators for YKKRM for RY 2019-2020 have committed ourselves to promoting this “Bag to School” Project as we hope that Rotary Clubs in Malaysia will be able to again do a meaningful Project thru a Project Partnership with YKKRM.

21,000 Smiles. Throughout Malaysia 21 thousand schools bags were sponsored and distributed to the poor and needy students simultaneously by the Rotary Clubs in every states.

The Rotary Club of Sitiawan did her own part by distributing the 451 bags to the following schools below:
