2025 - Kampong Koh new landmark

The Rotary Club of Sitiawan has launched a campaign to beautify Kampong Koh with a new landmark costing RM12,000. Astaka State Assemblyman Jason Ng Thien Yeong and Rotary Club of Sitiawan President Cindy Chia Noi Yang jointly launched the project, which included painting, concrete work, and tyre landscaping.

The new landmark, which features colorful cartoon elephant sculptures, is intended to enhance the village's visual appeal and symbolize community cooperation. Jason stressed the importance of community support and the government's commitment to securing additional money for infrastructure projects in Kampung Koh.

The plan also aims to increase local tourism and economic activity by drawing tourists to the newly beautified neighbourhood.
