16.03.2024 - Welcome R.I District 3300 INTER-CITY MEET in Sitiawan. Perak. It was also an Aloha night at RC Sitiawan's 64th Anniversary Celebrations. 16.03.2024 - The District Community Service Team awarded the Unsung hero, a Community Service appreciation certificate, and a plaque was presented by our District Governor and Past District Governor to Mr Yek Dong Ping, a rubber trader for his generosity in giving his land to SJKT Air Tawar for 30 years and also paying the quit rent for the land.

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Sitiawan, we thank you all for coming to make this 3 in 1 event a successful one, namely:

3. District Community Service Award and District Community Service for the DAGES team at Teluk Senangin for beach cleaning and tree planting.

Greetings!

It was a very fulfilling weekend spent on 16-17 March 2024.

More than 20 clubs including members from D3310 attended RC Sitiawan's 64th Anniversary and Fellowship Night on 16 March 2024. In conjunction with the Anniversary Celebrations, a District Community Service Award was presented to an unsung hero, Mr Yek Dong Ping, for his years of significant contributions and generous support for Tamil education in Ayer Tawar.

On the morning of the next day 17 March 2024, members of the District Community Service Committee, the DAGES team joined by members from other clubs gathered at Teluk Senangin for beach cleaning and tree planting. What a beautiful environmental project. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those present especially PDG Siti Subaidah, the District Community Service Committee Members comprising CP Dr Thila (Chair) and members - President Sangari (RC Greentown), PP Ching Loong (RC Sri Petaling), PAG Kovind (RC Senawang), Rtn Juliana (RC Bukit Bintang), PP Eric (RC Port Klang) and PP Sussiel (RC Lake Garden). I would like to thank Rtn Yasmin as well for arranging the tree-planting activity.

Lastly, I must say that we owe RC Sitiawan a mountain of gratitude for such a wonderful host with next-to-perfect arrangements.
