VOCATIONAL SERVICE – PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP AWARD

Rotary International District 3300 together with D3310 have embarked on a Pride of Workmanship Award, in recognizing the outstanding performance of the police profession especially as front liners during the pandemic and flood disaster and in their everyday responsibilities.

The event was held in the presence of the Deputy Inspector General of Police and was carried out with utmost precision and dignity.

At our earlier meeting with the Inspector General of Police, we received his consent to place our 4-Way Test plaque in all 157 main police stations in the country and agreed to work mutually in programs and activities benefiting the community.

ROTARY MALAYSIA RECOGNIZES THE CONTRIBUTIONS AND SACRIFICES OF THE PDRM TO STOP THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC IN MALAYSIA

Kuala Lumpur, 3 February 2022 - Rotary Malaysia today expressed its appreciation for the contribution and sacrifice of front-line officers from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) who are working hard to curb and break the chain of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

In the "Pride of Workmanship Award" ceremony held at the Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Hashim Hall today, the Governor of Rotary Malaysia, Dato' Bindi Rajasegaran said that the recognition given was the result of the role played by all PDRM officers and other frontline officers until the country has received world recognition.

Rotary Malaysia also described all frontline workers as national heroes who have worked hard since the beginning of the outbreak in the country.

Through the ceremony, Rotary Malaysia was pleased to present a donation check worth RM190,000 to the Team and a certificate of appreciation to 10 representatives from each PDRM Department which was completed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Dato' Razarudin Husain representing the PDRM leadership.

The appreciation ceremony was also attended by the Director of Management as Chairman of the Organizing Committee, CP Dato' Zaini Jass, Advisor Pride of Workmanship Committee, Datuk Shamrat Sen Gupta and the ranks of PDRM Directors, Commissioners and State Police Chiefs.
